Artemis Fowl is a brilliant boy genius who is both adversary and ally of the fairy civilization. He has Irish ancestors, dark hair, blue eyes, very pale skin, and with a history of crime, a loyal manservant and bodyguard called Butler, millions of dollars at his disposal, and one of the highest IQ levels in the world. He is the only known human to have read the Book, taken from a fairy. He first captures Captain Holly Short of the LEPrecon (a division of the Lower Elements Police) with the help of his faithful manservant, Butler. By the strength of his mind and manservant, he ends up with a load of gold, a cured mother, and unrequisited knowledge about the People: Knowledge he is sure to exploit in the future. The series watches Artemis develop from a calculating criminal to a young man with acknowledged, though controlled, emotions.

If you didn't notice from our motto, this is the Artemis Fowl fansite anyone can edit (yes, that can mean you!). Here are a few simple steps to help you get started and get the most out of this site:
- Create an account! Creating an account allows you to get recognition for your work. It also allows you to sign your username on talkpages and such.
- Read the series! Read the Artemis Fowl series, and, while you still have the books fresh in your mind, EDIT! Here's some help: the first book is Artemis Fowl and the next one is The Arctic Incident.
- Start out slow, learning the basics of this formatting. When you edit pages, there is a link above the editing text box that you can click to either hide or show editing tips. These will help ease you into the exciting world of Artemis Fowl and get the ball rolling toward greatness!
