Complex: Atlantis is an Artemis Fowl inspired song[1] written and recorded by Josh Fix,[2] who also wrote the official theme for Eoin Colfer's novel, And Another Thing...,[citation needed] a continuation of Douglas Adams's The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy.

Release[]

Complex: Atlantis was first performed during the Artemis Rocks! Show Tour.[3] It and a second Artemis Fowl inspired song were released for download soon after on the North American's Artemis Fowl official website.

Description[]

Complex: Atlantis tells of Artemis Fowl II's struggle against his Atlantis Complex. It refers to his other personality, Orion[4] ("...you think you're someone else.") while the start and end of the song seem to be from Artemis's perspective, telling himself to "get it together."[2]

Complex Atlantis - Lyrics

Fan-made video with lyrics for Complex: Atlantis.

Get it together, Artemis...

Something had better explain what's amiss.

Don't you forget, you're better than this.

It's complex... Complex: Atlantis!

Chorus:

'Complex_Atlantis',_Artemis_Rocks!

'Complex Atlantis', Artemis Rocks!

Official music video for the Artemis Fowl inspired song, Complex: Atlantis.

You've got your head so deep in a state!

You think you're someone else.

You're seein' numbers all over the place.

I don't know, I'm not sure...

if I can trust anything that you say

when I know you're not yourself.

You need to get back to me today,

or we're gone for good.

Root's older brother's back from the sea...

Art, ditch your other, and come back to me.

It's complex... Complex: Atlantis!

Chorus

You were a hundred percent

before your mind got all bent!

Mathematically... (mathematically)

Cut your good half free!

You're seein' numbers all over the place.

I don't know, I'm not sure...

if I can trust anything that you say,

when I know you're not yourself!

You need to get back to me today,

or we're gone for good...

Chorus

Get it together, Artemis...[5][6]
